Here’s a look at some customized Rocky IV action figures from Eccentric Views‘ collection.
On display are custom 1/6 scale Rocky in Russia with a beard, accurate to the “Hearts on Fire” training scenes featured in the barn, as well as a custom 1/6 scale Rocky in Russia wearing his leather bomber jacket for the outdoor training sequences in the snow.
The bearded Rocky Balboa heads were both custom sculpted by UK artist Matin Hillier, who specializes in commissioned custom sculpts and paint jobs for action figures like Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jean Claude Van Damme, Harrison Ford. Check out his website here.
Also shown in the video is Hillier’s custom Ivan Drago head sculpt, shown to be menacingly glaring mid-fight as compared to the original Hot Toys Drago head, which is more cartoonish by comparison.
