An Autograph in Philly

One of the most-asked questions we get is: Has Sly ever visited Total Rocky? We don’t know, but we do know he’s at least seen a page of the site – our famous filming location guide.

In early 2006, Sylvester Stallone hit the streets of Philadelphia to shoot on location for Rocky Balboa, and one ardent fan captured many of his moves throughout the city during the film’s production. Mark Mohler snapped the above photos of Stallone signing autographs on a chilly day and was kind enough to send them in – along with a photo of Sly’s signature.

Mark writes:

“We printed out a page from your site where they were going to be filming Rocky Balboa around the city. Well, we actually got Stallone to autograph the Total Rocky paper we printed. You need to look at the pictures in order –  he had a straight face while signing people’s crap. When we handed ours to him, you can see in the photos that as he reads it, he gets a great BIG smile on his face. You made his day!”

Thanks, Mark, and you made ours! Be sure to check out more of Mark’s terrific behind-the-scenes photos from the Rocky Balboa shoot in this gallery.
