Actor Dolph Lundgren – better known to Rocky fans as Ivan Drago – participated in a private autograph signing session with Authentic Signings, Inc. Lundgren signed a number of items of memorabilia encompassing his film career, including replica red and gold boxing shorts and matching satin jacket as worn by Ivan Drago in Rocky IV.
Sylvester Stallone holds the genuine screen-worn Ivan Drago boxing trunks and jacket in his personal collection, set to hit the auction block this December through Heritage Auctions.
A single red Tuf-Wear boxing glove (not screen used) was also autographed – this is the same boxing glove style used by Ivan Drago in the movie. Lundgren can be seen signing the items in an exclusive video (click here to watch) released by Authentic Signings, a major producer of authenticated hand-signed memorabilia from the sports and entertainment world. Previous signing sessions have included Sylvester Stallone and Smokin’ Joe Frazier, who made a cameo appearance in the original Rocky in 1976.
The Lundgren collection also includes a variety of signed movie photos and posters.
