“It’s bake or break time!”
Finally, Sylvester Stallone’s long-awaited television commercial for the famous UK-based bread company Warburtons hit the airwaves. Stallone shot the 2:00 minute commercial in Bolton, England back in January following his third in-person appearance on a British stage featuring a Q&A with fans in the audience.
Warburtons brought Stallone on board as a spokesman hoping to boost sales, and after the public’s warm reception to this epic and hilarious advert, their strategy is likely to pay off. The humorous commercial depicts Stallone as himself pitching a movie concept – titled “The Deliverers” – to the head of Warburtons over the phone. In it, we see Stallone parody both Rocky and The Expendables, all while interjecting some corny bread jokes.
