The long-awaited United Kingdom release of Ryan Coogler’s “Creed” is finally upon us. “Creed” opens in UK cinemas on Friday, 15 January, some seven weeks after the film’s US release. So far, the seventh Rocky film in the franchise has earned $103 million at the box office and has high hopes to take in even more once it debuts overseas.
A major premiere is scheduled to take place in London’s Leicester Square next Tuesday night, 12th January as “Creed” has its first UK showing at the Empire Cinema. Thus far, no hard details are confirmed as to which of the film’s stars will be walking the red carpet at the event and attending the premiere, but there’s a good chance the main cast members will be attending.
Sylvester Stallone, Michael B. Jordan, Tessa Thompson, Dolph Lundgren, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and even Apollo Creed himself, Carl Weathers, appeared at the Hollywood premiere of the film back in November, 2016. Read more about Creed’s Hollywood premiere.
